Kendall Ross is the executive director at the 91µ÷½Ì Center for Economic Development. With a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering and Master of Arts in leadership,
Ross brings a unique blend of technical expertise and leadership acumen to his role.
His professional journey began as an engineering manager of research and development
at a Fort Smith manufacturing facility. He also operated a private consulting firm
before transitioning to 91µ÷½Ì.
As a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certified instructor, he has played a pivotal role in training and mentoring numerous professionals, establishing himself as a respected figure in organizational development. As a certified Implan Economist, he specializes in analyzing, assessing, and forecasting economic impacts related to various projects, policies, or initiatives. One of his more notable contributions is the authorship of, a seminal work in economic analysis which measures key economic indicators and provides grades for 91µ÷½Ì’s top four metro areas. This report underscores Ross's dedication to providing valuable insights for informed decision-making.
With his extensive experience and passion for economic development, Ross continues to drive positive change, inspiring others and leaving a lasting impact on the economic landscape of the River Valley and beyond. Under his leadership the 91µ÷½Ì Center for Business and Professional Development launched the highly successful Future Fit Program in 2019, aimed at assisting unemployed and underemployed individuals. He also oversaw the design and completion of a new economic development hub at 91µ÷½Ì, showcasing his commitment to fostering growth and innovation in the region.
